Contributions
Dear Friends,
You may not realize it, but you are very important to the Cabarrus Arts Council. Since you are on our website and reading this contributions page, we know that you are interested in our continued work. You are helping us reach our mission of "energizing our community through arts excellence."
The arts council is dedicated to presenting performing and visual arts to our entire county and we accomplish this through the schools, The Galleries, the Davis Theatre, and the grants that we give to support other arts groups and cultural arts initiatives. Our programs reach 300,000 participants annually, of which 30,000 are students and teachers.
Can you imagine what life would be like without the arts? Think of a life with:
- no music - radio, iPod, concerts, choirs, bands…
- no theatre - stage, television, movies, comedy…
- no literature - books, poetry, magazines, scripts, screenwriting…
- no dance - ballet, hip hop, line dance, social dance, jazz…
- no visual art - paintings, pottery, sculpture, architecture, signage, automobile design, fashion design, photography…
YOU are the key to the arts council’s continued excellence. You understand how essential the arts are to each individual and every community. You see that the study of the arts develops critical thinking skills that every student needs to succeed in life.
Our many programs succeed only with financial support. Every single donation makes a difference, and this year we need your support more than ever. Many people choose to give in memory or honor of someone, often as a gift.
Thank you so much! We are thankful for you, your interest and your support, and we look forward to seeing you in the Arts Council Galleries and at the Davis Theatre!
Yours,
OUR DONORS
The arts council is grateful to our generous donors. Without you, our work would not be possible. Please take a moment to view the corporations and individuals who help make art a part of our community.
