Public Performances


Four of the arts council’s Students Take pART in the ARTs! performers will present programs for the public, thanks to the co-sponsorship of the Concord and Kannapolis Friends of the Library groups.

The Concord Friends of  the Library will offer performances by Donna Washington, Opera Carolina, Khac Chi and Roger Day.  The Kannapolis Friends will co-sponsor a performance by Day.  This is the third year that the Concord group has brought some of the performances to the public.

Following is the performance schedule:

• Storyteller Donna Washington, Thursday, September 23, 7 p.m. , Concord Library
• Opera Carolina ’s The Billy Goats Gruff, Saturday, October 16, 11 a.m. , Concord Library
• Khac Chi Vietnamese ensemble, Tuesday, February 8, 7 p.m. , Concord Library
• Roger Day, children’s musician, Saturday, March 19, 11 a.m. , Concord Library; 3 p.m. , Kannapolis Library
