Arts Council’s Work Touches Entire Community

Arts Council President

The work of the Cabarrus Arts Council touches the entire community, and at no time is that more evident than when we distribute Grassroots Grants to organizations and Regional Artist Grants to individual artists.  These grants are the cornerstone of the arts council whose mission it is to engage, enlighten and enrich our community through the arts.  We take seriously our job to encourage all of the arts in our community through grants, administrative assistance, publicity, and professional guidance.

The arts council is in the midst of our fundraising campaign, and we rely on the support of individuals, corporations, local government, and grants to sustain our work for Cabarrus County .  The funds that we receive are used to support our programs in the schools and community, and they are used to support other non-profit arts organizations.  As our funds increase, our grants to support other organizations increase, and our programs for you increase.

The arts council’s programs make our community a place that we are proud to call home. They improve the quality of education in our schools and the quality of entertainment in our community.  Our programs are free or low cost so that everyone can participate. I encourage you to take time to consider the impact this arts council has on your life and support it with a gift today.
